Interface and The Natural Step: how to implement a sustainability revolution

Interface, Inc. is the world’s largest manufacturer of modular carpet. In 1994, Interface Founder Ray Anderson challenged his co-workers to pursue a bold new vision: “Be the first company that, by its deeds, shows the entire world what sustainability is in all its dimensions: people, process, product, place and profits – and in doing so, become restorative through the power of influence.” The Natural Step was there from the start, helping the company and its people to determine what true sustainability would look like for them, and giving them a strategic approach to make the journey in innovative, profitable steps. We are pleased to present this case study of the Interface sustainability success story–pulling back the curtain on how it was done. Click here to read the full case study  ...
